Set in Tanzania, the story follows Mzee Mti, a wise old tree who watches over the land and teaches young trees and villagers about living in harmony with nature. But when greed and short-term thinking take over, trees are cut down, the environment withers, and the people fall ill. It’s only through the ultimate sacrifice of Mzee Mti that the village finds healing, renewal, and a chance to restore what was lost.
